  A major change in the new song book I initially overlooked

  it occurred to me the other day that i am beginning to forget the tunes to all the old kingdom songs i once knew by heart.

  so i have started recording myself singing a few of my favourites from the old song book and uploading them to youtube.

  and it struck me as i was singing them how many of the old songs have a military theme running through them, with references to warfare, soldiers, weapons and so on.

  Dug this one up from years ago...gives you some idea of the self-imprinting experienced by JW's everytime they sing these words:

  This was a sequential sampling from the Jehovah's Witnesses' Song Book. Could those who prescribe such WARLIKE, unhealthy, intensively-administered, loaded-language "nourishment" be aware of the academic work of Dr. Pavlov? Misusing knowledge and position to terrify and induce persecution complexes and other mental illnesses and disorders in people whose trust you have.

  UK Elders. Recommendation Letters.. Freedom of Information Act.

  from my experience, elders dont want to reveal the contents of a recommendation letter.

  but as each congregation is a legally constituted charity and hence public body they are open to all the disclosure obligations of other public bodes.

  do any uk elders or ex elders have any experience of people who demanded or wanted to see their recommendation letters, or who have gone through the process of a freedom of information request to get to see these?.

  The technology discovered during the 787 build has been useful to Boeing. The 747 dash 8 has seen redesigned wings that have a similar profile to those on the 787, but much bigger of course.

  as far as i'm concerned thats a bunch of bs.

  people have a right to preserve who they, where they came from, and they have a right to be represented.

  we used to attend meetings, but have not been officially recognized yet, as apostates.

  we were good and curious students, but fell away and were choked out by weeds.. since i will be renewing my bible student status soon, i am hoping this will open more windows into the organization.

  UNDESERVED kindness or DESERVED kindness?

  i'm tired of hearing people grovel before their "benevolent" creator.. recently i was listening to a jw relative express regrets over their rebellious life-style when they were young.

  then came that phrase:.

  "i'm so greatful for jehovah's undeserved kindness and that he can accept me with my sinful past.".

  I used to get undeserved loving kindness.

  So as well as not being deserving of kindness, you were also not deserving of love either.
